Camping

Many of our guests have already decided to take the free camping option. Free camping is available on the wedding night in the field adjacent to Cripps Barn. Campers will have access to toilets and changing facilities at Cripps Barn but be aware that there are no actual shower facilities. We have been able to sort out portable shower options so feel free to brig you own washing facilities. You could invest into a gadget such as a portable shower shown on this website; Portable Shower.

Campers can arrive at Cripps Barn anytime after 12 noon on the wedding day. On your arrival you will be instructed about where to go and depending on the weather you will be instructed to drive onto the camping field or park in the car park and then walk to the camping field (~50m).

You will have access to Cripps Barn toilets and changing facilities from 12 noon until 2a.m and the toilets will open again in the morning some time around 7.30-8a.m. During the night you will have access to a toilet and basic washing facilities in the disabled toilet, located at the barn entrance from the main car park.

Drinking water is available from the toilets and / or there is a tap at the end of the drive way to the camping field.

The barn access gates will be locked from 2am until the morning. The gates are locked one way so you can't get onto the premises but if you are leaving the premises a sensor will unlock the gates as you drive up to the gates from the inside, so if you need to leave you can.

On the Monday you will need to be packed up by the end of the brunch and have left the premises by 1 p.m.

Please do not leave any litter on the campsite and leave it as you found it.

(N.B. There will be parents, toddlers, babies, tired and / or drunk guests camping so please be quiet when going to your tents)

Remember to bring a torch, it will be very useful.
